When you are discharged from The University of Arizona Medical Center, the doctor will give you prescriptions for any medications that are prescribed. The nurse will review these medications with you. You will then need to take them to pharmacy that honors your insurance. The Outpatient Pharmacy provides complete prescription services for eligible patients and employees.
We fill prescriptions for the Emergency Department, University Campus hospital-based clinics, and University Campus discharged patients. Staff will be more than happy to contact your physician for refill requests if needed. Our expert pharmacists offer personal consultations and dispense detailed written information on your medications. Over the counter medications are available for purchase. If you'd like to fill your prescription with UAHN, you can use our online refill service. Please note: This is only available for University Campus.
